Dallas Facial Plastic Surgeon Teaches Beauty
Professionals about the Latest Cosmetic Surgery Techniques
Dr. Benjamin Bassichis, a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive
surgeon, instructs an informative seminar about the latest advances in cosmetic
injectable and surgical treatments.
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) August 11, 2006 -- What do women really want to know about
cosmetic injectable treatments? And what do they need to know? With so many surgical
and non-surgical cosmetic treatment options available, it is easy to get confused
about what works (and where it works!).
To help clear through the clutter, renowned facial plastic surgeon Benjamin Bassichis
M.D., F.A.C.S., of the Advanced Facial Plastic Surgery Center discussed the latest
advances in cosmetic injectable treatments, such as BOTOX Cosmetic and dermal
fillers, as well as current beauty trends with the Cosmetic staff at the Nordstrom
store in the Dallas Galleria Mall. In a seminar sponsored by Allergan Pharmaceuticals
(the makers of Botox Cosmetic) and NEWBEAUTY Magazine, Dr. Bassichis recently
trained the Nordstrom beauty advisors to help them educate their customers about
the myths and facts of cosmetic injectables.
One of D Magazine's top plastic surgeons, Dr. Bassichis is a double board-certified
facial plastic surgeon with a private practice in North Dallas. A member of the
elite Botox Cosmetic National Educational Faculty, Dr. Bassichis teaches other
physicians and health professionals the art of performing Botox injections; in
addition to educating beauty industry professionals.
During the morning seminar, Dr. Bassichis addressed the key questions Dallas
women are asking for when they visit an aesthetic specialty physician, including:
what is the difference between BOTOX Cosmetic and fillers, what are the categories
of dermal fillers and which are best for which parts of the face, what do you
suggest when a woman is not quite ready for plastic surgery, what are the most
popular non-surgical treatments, how does a patient know if what she is having
injected is safe, how can women avoid looking like they have had "something done," are
more men starting to get more cosmetic treatments, how can people be sure they
are seeing the right doctor for them, what questions should people be prepared
to ask their aesthetic specialty physician, and much more.
Dr. Bassichis expressed to the Nordstrom beauty advisors importance of the continuum
of cosmetic care. From good skin care and beauty products at the Cosmetic counters
to cosmetic procedures and surgery, all beauty professionals can work together
to keep America beautiful.
